Documents Needed for ABU Physical Screening and Registration
You’ll need the follow documents for ABU physical Screening and registration.
- JAMB admission letter
- School admission notification
- JAMB result (for UTME candidates)
- O’level result
- Alevel result (for DE candidates)
- Indigene certificate
- Birth certificate/declaration of age
- Primary school certificate or testimonial
- 3 passport photograph
In addition to the documents mention above students will need 3 photocopy of each documents.
One copy of each documents will be submitted during the screening, one at the faculty and one at the department.
Do you write any exam during physical screening?
No you won’t write any exam during screening. The school will go through your documents to confirm all your details are correct.
Registration process for New Students
After you have been successfully screened your post UTME portal will change to SCREENED or QUALIFY before you’ll have access to the ABU student portal https://portal.abu.edu.ng/
At the student portal, use your JAMB registration number in place of user name and state in place of password to login.
You’ll do your registration on the student portal by paying your school fees, updating your biodata, printing your admission letter and finally doing your courses registration.

How to Click Hostel/Book for Accommodation in ABU
The hostel portal will be open to you immediately you pay your school fees. Click on accomodation from your new student portal to select any hostel you’ll like it o reside in and make payments.

Courses registration is a process where by you select courses you’ll take, you’ll be given a handbook that’ll contain Various course you are to register for.
